Introduction

The Old Opera House, located in Frankfurt, was built in 1880 and is a typical example of Italian Renaissance architecture. However, it was destroyed during World War II. After reconstruction, the building reopened to the public in 1981. Today, it is a vibrant cultural venue, hosting over 340 performances annually, including not only operas but also various other forms of shows like orchestral performances.
