Introduction
The Mountain residential building, located in the Ørestad district, was designed by architects Bjarke Ingels (BIG) and Plot. Completed in 2008, it won the World's Best Residential Building award at the World Architecture Expo shortly after. Each unit has its own balcony and rooftop garden, with the balconies protruding from the main structure and filled with green plants. An automated irrigation system ensures the growth of evergreen vegetation. Additionally, the building's elevators operate diagonally along the interior walls.
