Introduction

The Holy Blood Church is located next to the Bruges City Hall. The church was built in the 12th century and houses the Holy Blood, a precious relic brought back from the Crusades. The structure of the church is Romanesque with a Gothic upper church built in the 15th-16th century, and a lower ossuary dedicated to St. Basil.

October to March 24th, 10:00-12:00, 14:00-17:00, closed on weekends
March 24 to September 30, every day 9:30-12:00, 14:00-17:00. Visit the Holy Blood on the 2nd floor for free. Monday to Thursday from 11:30am to 12pm, and from 2pm to 3pm in the afternoon. Friday to Sunday from 2pm to 4pm in the afternoon.
