Taste the distinctive cuisine of Bruges

This place is jokingly called "Venice of the North", but it is completely different from the bustling and noisy Venice. Bruges is a quiet, small and elegant town, exuding the breath of life, and it is famous for its emotional name.

Gruuthuse Hof

Since 1751, Gruuthuse Hof has been one of the oldest restaurants in Bruges, with a history of over two hundred years. This restaurant is located in a small building with an equally ancient charm, and the atmosphere is excellent! Due to its long history, it mainly offers traditional Belgian dishes, but in recent years it has also started to include other European specialties, such as French cuisine. Highly recommended dishes include beef stew and crème brûlée, which will leave you with a lasting impression just like the long history of this restaurant.

De Koetse

De Koetse is a classic restaurant in Bruges that has been popular in the city center for 25 years. This restaurant is an excellent place to taste seafood, and almost every guest orders mussels. In addition, various grilled fish are highly praised for their tenderness and deliciousness. Besides mussels, I highly recommend trying their salmon, vanilla ice cream, and the beer with a faint malt aroma, which is perfect for ladies and will definitely bring you a pleasant surprise!

Vlissinghe

Café Vlissinghe, also known locally as Cafe Vlissinghe, is a great place to drink and chat in the outdoor courtyard. This tavern, which opened in 1515, is the oldest tavern in the small town and has no branches. Therefore, the drinks offered here are not only diverse but also very authentic, especially the local Belgian beers. The tavern also serves authentic Belgian dishes, and I highly recommend trying the grilled shrimp and cheese salad, the combination of which is excellent!

In't Nieuw Museum

In't Nieuw Museum is a barbecue restaurant that has been operating since 1978, with a history of 38 years. Here, real charcoal grills are used to cook the meat, and there is an open grill in the lobby that emits the natural aroma of the meat, which is the charm of barbecue. The restaurant's steaks are highly praised by locals, with generous portions and rich sauces, making them very delicious! It is best paired with traditional Belgian beer, and the combination of high-quality beer and delicious meat will definitely leave you with unforgettable memories and make you want to come back for more!
