Blarney Castle is located in the outskirts of Cork, the second largest city in Ireland, 8 kilometers from the city center. The castle, built in the 13th century, has undergone several reconstructions and wars and is now abandoned. Surrounding the castle is a vast park, a great place for walking and leisure. March Monday to Saturday 9:00-18:30, extended to 19:00 from June to August, open until sunset from October to April of the following year (the sun sets as early as 4:00 pm in Irish winter)
Summer Sundays 9:00-17:30, open until sunset in winter.

To travel from Dublin to Blarney Castle, you need to take a bus to Cork first, and then take the number 215 or 235 bus from Cork Bus Station to Blarney Castle. You can ask the driver for the appropriate stop before getting on the bus.
