Introduction

Phoenix Park is located in the northwest of Dublin city center, covering nearly 2,000 acres, and is one of the largest urban parks in Western Europe. The park also houses the residence of the President of Ireland, which is open to the public every Saturday. More information can be found on the President's website www.president.ie. In addition, the residence of the US Ambassador to Ireland is also located in the park, symbolizing the special relationship between the two countries.
