Introduction

Jingtong Railway Story House is a wooden house building that replicates the atmosphere of the 1950s in the Republic of China. It sells goods related to the Pingxi line railway and is popular among railway enthusiasts. The mailbox and large service mascot outside the wall have become a popular photo spot for tourists, and the benches along the wall provide a convenient resting place for visitors. The Story House is also Taiwan's earliest store to sell "wooden postcards," which is a creative way to leave blessings in antique mailboxes and have meaningful memories sent to family and friends through the mailing service provided by the store. The interior and exterior of the house are decorated with collection bags, kerosene lamps, old film posters, old soda boxes, and vintage advertising signs, presenting a retro Taiwanese style from the 50s and 60s. It is a pilgrimage site for railway enthusiasts and photographers and has become a must-visit attraction in Jingtong Old Street.
