Introduction
The Tamsui River Mangrove Natural Reserve is located in the southwest of the Guandu Plain and is a natural reserve characterized by estuarine wetlands. The reserve was established to protect a plant species called the water pen. Along the reserve, there are flat and smooth boardwalks where visitors can ride bikes and take walks while observing the ecology of water pens, fish, and crabs, and getting close to nature.
