Introduction

Do you remember the prestigious school in the movie "Secret"? It is Tamkang High School on Zhongzheng Street in Tamsui. Established in 1914 as "Tamsui Middle School" by the son of Dr. Mackay, Tamkang High School was Taiwan's first private school and also the first all-girls school. The campus is located in a quiet alley with trees on both sides, and the old red brick walls bear witness to history. The octagonal tower, the teaching building of the Pure Virtue Girls' School, the Mackay Cemetery, and the ancient gymnasium are all excellent attractions on the campus.

Open to public from 9:00-16:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Transportation
Take the MRT Tamsui Line to Tamsui Station, transfer to bus route Red 26, and get off at the "Aletheia University/Fort Santo Domingo" stop.
