Introduction
Wuling Forest Recreation Area is located on a high mountain plateau at an altitude of 1800 meters. It is situated at the border of Heping District in Taichung City and Datong Township in Yilan County. Wuling Farm has a history of over 20 years and its attractions include Dabajian Mountain, Xueshan, and Taoshan. Kalasan National Park, established on July 1, 1992, is the fifth national park in Taiwan. It is located in Hsinchu, Miaoli, and Taichung counties, covering an area of 76,850 hectares, including mountains, valleys, plateaus, and waterfalls. Together with Wuling Farm, it forms a scenic area and is an excellent destination for mountaineers and family tourists.
Visitors can enjoy peach blossoms, plum blossoms, and flower fields in spring, taste high mountain fruits and vegetables in summer, admire the autumn foliage and lush cedar trees in autumn, and appreciate the snow-covered mountain peaks in winter, glistening like crystals. Among them, Taoshan Waterfall is one of the most famous high mountain waterfalls in Taiwan. Visitors can enjoy magnificent views of Taoshan and Xueshan along the way, as well as panoramic views of Wuling. Additionally, the Qijia Bay Creek Watershed has become a wildlife protection area for Taiwan salmon, making it the largest wildlife protection area in Taiwan. Address Taichung City, Heping District
