Introduction

Taipei Botanical Garden was established in 1921 and is located on Nanhai Road in Taipei, Taiwan. The garden was originally created by the Colonial Government of Taiwan to cultivate tropical plants and familiarize themselves with the flora and ecology of Southeast Asia. As a result, the garden is home to a variety of plants from the region, including various palm species such as the Royal Palm and Alexander Palm, which are not native to Taiwan. Today, Taipei Botanical Garden remains a charming and historically significant tourist attraction, attracting visitors and plant enthusiasts alike.
