Introduction

Ly Thai To, born as Ly Cong Uan on March 8, 974, was the founder and first ruler of the Ly Dynasty in Vietnam. During his reign from 1009 to 1028, he had the temple name of Tai Tuong and the posthumous name of Shenwu Emperor. The statue of Ly Thai To is located on the east side of Hoan Kiem Lake, facing the lake.
