Introduction

West Lake is one of the largest lakes in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is also known as Hu She Tan, Jin Niu Hu, Lang Bo, or Dui Hu. Located in the northwest of the city, it is approximately 200 meters from Ba Dinh Square. With an area of about 5 square kilometers, the lake is formed by a section of the Red River. It has a long history, and along its shores, there are many temples and palaces, such as Tran Vu Temple, Quan Guo Temple, and Kim Lien Temple. West Lake is famous for its blooming peach blossoms and attracts a large number of visitors during the season.
