Introduction

The Presidential Palace, located northwest of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and next to Ba Dinh Square, showcases a luxurious French-style villa. However, its previous occupant, Ho Chi Minh, did not reside here. His residence was a simple house and a stilt house by the pond, located next to the tree-lined avenue in the garden. The stilt house, with two floors entirely made of wood, exhibits historical items used by Ho Chi Minh during his lifetime, holding significant historical value. Although not as lavish in terms of architecture as the Presidential Palace, this modest residence showcases Ho Chi Minh's modest and frugal lifestyle.
