Introduction

Phra Nakhon Khiri Palace, located in the city of Phetchaburi in Thailand, was built on a hill. It was originally constructed by King Rama IV, who was enamored with the beautiful scenery of the mountain. The palace was named "Phra Nakhon Khiri," which means "city in the mountains." Today, the palace has been transformed into the Phra Nakhon Khiri National Museum and can be accessed through walking or taking a cable car ride to the top of the hill.
