Introduction

The palace built by King Pararama Bhah I was 31 meters long and 13 meters wide. It used to have 7 floors and more than 50 rooms, including audience halls, banquet halls, and other ancillary rooms. The building structure was supported by 36 columns of varying shapes. However, the wooden structure of the top floor has disappeared, leaving only 3-storey high walls and a small section of stairs leading to the upper floor. The walls are 3 meters thick and have neatly arranged holes used to secure the floors of the second and third floors. The audience hall is famous for its eaves with elephant patterns, with various postures and a beautiful lion statue on the top stairs. The palace's east side is where the palace women's bath is located. Despite many years having passed, the palace still presents a majestic and spectacular architectural style.
