Introduction
The Galle National Museum is located next to the fortress main gate, adjacent to the Amangalla Hotel. The museum displays pottery from various periods of Sri Lankan history, as well as currency and everyday items from the colonial era. Though these exhibits may not have high value, the museum also showcases items from Arabia and China, evoking the prosperous scenes of the trading port at that time. It is delightful to appreciate the current tranquility and harmony of Galle town in the dimly lit museum. Address Church St, Galle 80000 Sri Lanka
