Introduction

The Mira Mosque, built in 1904 during the Dutch colonial period, is located next to the lighthouse. Its architectural style resembles more of a church than a traditional Islamic style, with a romantic white color. After sunset, the mosque lights up, and from the slope of the city wall, one can see the devout worshippers bathing in the pool in front of the entrance.
