The visit to the garden and the museum takes about an hour. The variety of plant species in the garden is extensive. The Kandy National Museum is located next to the Temple of the Tooth, originally part of the former royal palace, and is one of the representative buildings of traditional Sri Lankan architecture. The museum mainly collects exquisite art objects from the 16th to 19th centuries, including Buddha statues, crowns, aristocratic figures, and wood carvings, displayed in the Palle Vahala Palace. In addition, various artifacts from the British colonial period are also exhibited in the museum.
