Introduction

The deity enshrined in Kibitsu Shrine is Kibitsuhiko, who is said to be the prototype of "Momotaro". He bravely led the people to defeat the evil demon Orochi, bringing peace to the Kibitsu region. The main hall and worship hall of the shrine have a unique architectural style known as the "Kibitsu style", and have been designated as a national treasure of Japan. The shrine is one of the most important shrines in the Okayama area. The main shrine of the shrine is built in a paired roof style, and is accompanied by a 400-meter-long corridor, showcasing exquisite and beautiful craftsmanship and having high representativeness.
