Introduction

Peace Park in Nagasaki was established to commemorate the tragic history of the atomic bomb attack in World War II. The park features a tall Peace Prayer Statue and memorial monuments. In addition, the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum is located nearby. The museum exhibits the remains of buildings and artifacts from the aftermath of the atomic bomb explosion, aiming to raise awareness and pray for world peace.

Opening hours
The park is open all day. The Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum is open from March of the following year after April and September, from 8:30 to 17:30, from May to August from 8:30 to 18:30, from August 7th to September from 8:30 to 20:00, and is closed from December 29th to 31st.
Transportation
Get off at "Matsuyamachi" station by taking the tram heading towards "Akasako" from Nagasaki Station and walk for 3 minutes to arrive.
