Introduction
The Nur-Astana Mosque is located on the left bank of the Ishim River and has a building height of 40 meters, symbolizing the age when Prophet Muhammad received the Quran. Four 63-meter-high minarets symbolize the age at which Prophet Muhammad passed away. The mosque can accommodate 5,000 people for indoor congregational prayers and has sufficient outdoor space to accommodate 2,000 people.
