Introduction
Nakanoshima Park is Osaka's first park, established in 1891, with a total length of about 1.5 kilometers and an area of about 10.6 hectares. It was a luxurious park at the time, with the first beer hall and coffee shop in Osaka, providing a leisure space for the city. In the park, there are also high-end restaurants such as the Western restaurant "Silver Water Tower" and the Japanese restaurant "Qinghua Tower". Suiryukan is a Noh theatre, located behind the current Central Public Hall, regularly performing the Noh of Kongō-ryū. The Liberty Pavilion Hotel was once the only hotel in Osaka with accommodation facilities for foreigners, and nearby is said to have had the Naniwa Onsen.
The current Nakanoshima Park has a rose garden consisting of about 100 kinds and 4,000 roses. The viewing period is in mid-May and mid-October. At the end of the year, there will be light shows, attracting many tourists. Nearby the park, there are also some historical buildings, such as the Central Public Hall and the Prefectural Nakanoshima Library, which are listed as "Selected Osaka Scenic Spots". Nakanoshima Park has become a large, leafy leisure place in the city center, loved by the citizens. Address 1-1-27 Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka-fu
