Introduction

The Nishinomaru Garden was the residence of the wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Kitahime-hime, and is now open as a lawn garden with a total area of approximately 64,000 square meters. The most famous feature of the garden is the teahouse "Hoshinoya-an" located in the northeast corner, which was donated by Konosuke Matsushita in 1969. Nishinomaru Garden is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Osaka Castle. It mainly plants Yoshino cherry trees, with about 600 trees in total. During the blooming season, the trees are illuminated at night, adding a romantic atmosphere to the cherry blossom viewing experience. In addition to cherry blossoms, azaleas bloom in summer and the maple leaves turn red in autumn. The scenery is incredibly beautiful throughout the year and definitely worth a visit.
