Introduction

At the end of 2010, the Higashiyama Museum of Art opened and became one of the popular attractions in Higashiyama. The building is a single space and the exhibition hall is empty, except for water drops on the floor and slowly flowing water, as well as a small pond. Designer Ryo Naito constructed this unique art museum using the simplest natural elements: air, sunlight, wind, and water. Here, you can deeply appreciate the charm of nature.
