Introduction
The Enryaku-ji temple is located inside the Kodai-ji temple on the Higashiyama ward in Kyoto and belongs to the Rinzai sect of the Kennin-ji line. This temple was built in 1321 AD and was originally a villa for Japanese aristocratic families. Later, it was given to the world Dong (a group of Japanese Buddhist nuns) for practice. The Enryaku-ji temple has inherited rich historical and cultural heritage, and is a temple with a deep Buddhist cultural background.
