Introduction

The Crystal Cathedral is a building designed by Philip Johnson in the 1980s and is a well-known church in the architectural world. In the evening, the lights inside the church are beautiful, and there is also a huge organ inside. Initially, the Crystal Cathedral belonged to the American Reformed Church, but in 2012, the church went bankrupt due to economic reasons, and the board was forced to sell it to the Catholic Diocese of Orange County, renaming it Christ Cathedral, or as commonly referred to in Chinese as 基督主教座堂. Later, the church was designated as the cathedral of the Diocese of Orange County.
