Introduction
Sarawak Museum is one of the best museums in Southeast Asia. It has two parts: the New Wing and the Old Wing, located on different sides of Tun Abdul Razak Road. The Old Wing, built in 1891, features a Norman style design. It showcases a wide range of cultural artifacts, natural and geological history, as well as Sarawak's oil industry. The traditional wood carvings on the ground floor are particularly impressive. The New Wing hosts various activities and exhibitions, connected to the Old Wing via a pedestrian bridge. The ground floor houses an aquarium, botanical garden, and a memorial monument. With its extensive collection of artifacts, the Sarawak Museum is a must-visit attraction.
