Introduction
Perak Cave in the north of Ipoh is a limestone cave, about 122 meters long. Inside the cave stands the largest statue of the Buddha in Malaysia, reaching a height of 13 meters. The cave walls feature over 100 paintings, including depictions of the Eighteen Arhats and the Journey to the West. Visitors climb up the stone steps, a total of 385, and pass through the interior of the cave to reach a pavilion at the top of the hill.
