Introduction

The Floating Mosque is a mosque built on a small island in the middle of Kuala Terengganu River. It was completed in 2008 with a total cost of 600 million Malaysian Ringgit. It is the largest and most expensive floating mosque in Malaysia, constructed mainly with materials such as crystal glass and fiberglass. The mosque covers an area of 2.146 square meters and can accommodate 700 worshippers. It is equipped with information technology facilities and wireless internet, providing convenience for Muslims to read the Quran. Unlike most mosques, the Floating Mosque allows non-Muslims to visit. It is located on the south side of the city center, on the way to Marang. It is recommended to visit in the evening to capture beautiful sunset photos. However, if the weather is gloomy, it is not advisable to visit as it will appear like an ordinary mosque.
