Introduction

Climbing up Penang Flagstaff Hill offers a panoramic view of the city. Taking the cable car up the mountain, you can enjoy stunning natural scenery along the way and breathe fresh air, feeling like you are in a dream. At the summit, you can overlook the city below, the vast ocean, and the Penang Bridge, and even catch a glimpse of the mainland and the Central Mountain Range in the distance. Situated in the northern part of central Penang, Flagstaff Hill stands at an altitude of 821 meters. The cable car, resembling a subway car, does not require any transfers and takes only 5-10 minutes to reach the mountaintop. With fresh air, comfortable temperature, and expansive views, it is also not far from the Kek Lok Si Temple, allowing visitors to combine both attractions in their itinerary.
