Introduction

St. Peter's Church was built in 1710 by descendants of Portuguese immigrants. The church is particularly known for its Friday and Easter services. Every June, the SAN PEDRO event is held to give thanks to the patron saint who watches over fishermen. This is a grand celebration attended by Catholics from all over Malaysia.
