Introduction

The Guan Yin Temple located on Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur was founded in 1880. Between 2000 and 2005, the temple was renovated and became one of the largest temples in Kuala Lumpur. The famous attractions of the temple are the Chinese Buddha, three bronze Buddha statues, and the seated statue of Avalokitesvara with a thousand arms, which are considered to be one of the largest Buddhist statues in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
