Introduction

The National Heroes Monument was completed in 1966 across from the Lake Gardens. This sculpture was built to commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed for the country. The bronze statues of the Seven Warriors reach a height of 15.54 meters, making it one of the largest single sculptures in the world. Mr. Felix de Weldon, a renowned American sculptor, designed the monument and it was cast in Italy. This sculpture, based on the image of national heroes, stands as a precious memorial to their sacrifice.
