Introduction

Malaysian Textile Museum is located at the intersection of Sultan Hishamuddin Road and Pasar Besar Lane, just steps away from Merdeka Square. It showcases Malaysia's rich cultural heritage, as well as art and craft techniques. Visitors can observe the entire process of batik fabric dyeing and learn traditional weaving techniques for fabrics such as songket, telepuk, gerus, and pua. Furthermore, the museum exhibits historically significant textiles as well as the latest styles and design samples.
