Introduction

Taebaek Mountains are the most beautiful mountains in South Korea, with their highest peak, Daegwallyeong Peak, being a snow-covered mountain. Whether it is the azaleas of spring, the valleys of summer, the maple leaves of autumn, or the snowscapes of winter, Daegwallyeong is renowned for its picturesque beauty throughout the four seasons. Hancheoli and Miyari ridges serve as the dividing line on the eastern side of Daegwallyeong. The outer region of Daegwallyeong is one of the most distinctive places in South Korea, featuring stunning sights such as Cheonbuldong Valley, Wusahn Rock, Gwon Geumseong, Geumgang Cave, Guimyeon Rock, Flying Dragon Waterfall, Five-Steps Waterfall, and Tuwangseong Waterfall. With its well-equipped facilities, Daegwallyeong is one of the most complex areas within the Taebaek Mountains National Park. Visitors can choose from various routes, including the Feixiantai-Madaeng Ridge route and the Feixiantai-Cheonbuldong-Daegwallyeong route.
