Introduction
Seoul City Hall is the administrative office of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, responsible for handling various government affairs. It is located on Taepyeong-ro in the city center, adjacent to City Hall Station, with convenient transportation. The construction of the building started in 2008 and includes a multifunctional hall and cultural facilities that are open to the public. There is a skybridge connecting the new and old city halls. The new city hall officially opened on August 27, 2012, and government departments moved in and began operations on September 1.
