Introduction

Changqing Palace is the place where the king, queen, and other members of the royal family lived on the site of Shoukang Palace. It is large in scale, with more than 2,000 rooms. However, this palace was destroyed in wars throughout history and later converted into a zoo. It wasn't until 1987 that restoration and reconstruction work began on Changqing Palace. There are many buildings in the palace, such as the Honghua Gate, Mingzheng Hall, Tongming Hall, Yanghe Hall, and the Chuntang Pond. They are also connected by sky bridges, which provide easy access to the ancestral temple. Visitors can listen to Chinese-speaking guides during the tour, with two time slots available each day at 1 pm and 3 pm, starting in front of the Yuchuan Bridge. The entire tour takes about an hour.
