Introduction

The building, constructed in 1913, is one of the landmarks of the old city of Fez and also one of the gates leading to the old city. It features Moorish style architecture with three symmetrical arches adorned with beautiful floral patterns and colorful glazed tiles, radiating a blue brilliance. From here, you can also see the minarets of the mosques in the old city. According to city guides, this is often the last stop for tourists exploring the old city before they exit, as the building is located at one of the entrances to the old city.
