Introduction

The No. 53 boundary marker along the China-Vietnam border was erected in 1896 during the Qing Dynasty. It is a stone monument located on the border between China and Vietnam. The monument is inscribed with the five Chinese characters "China Guangxi Border". It only takes one second to cross between Vietnam and China at this location, as the marker's left side is in China and its right side is in Vietnam.
