Introduction

Da Yan is located in a high mountain basin at an altitude of 1600 meters, surrounded by mountains, becoming a high mountain basin. The mountains here undulate, and the pastoral villages are beautiful. The surrounding mountains are steep and climb up to the sky, hence the name "Three Sky". There are many places worth seeing in the scenic area, especially the high cliff flying waterfall and snow Da Yan, which is up to 100 meters high. When it falls, it looks like dancing snowflakes, and the sound is as loud as thunder. There are also more than 200 ancient buildings, ancient trees and famous trees in the scenic area, including Shisi Temple, Mei's Ancestral Hall, Huguan Bridge, Huqiao and other buildings, as well as ancient trees such as fir trees, cypress trees, yellow sandalwood, cypress and ginkgo trees. Although these ancient trees are old, they are different in shape, some tall like immortals, some with silver beards, some with long robes fluttering, and some graceful and charming, all of which constitute the unique ancient tree landscape of Da Yan.

Transportation

Driving: After taking the Lishui Expressway to Jingning, continue along Provincial Road 52 until you reach Baihe, then turn right. There are signs for Yunzhong Daxi along the way. Don't worry, it's about a one hour mountain road drive. Self-guided tour: Take a bus from Lishui Bus East Station to Jingning County or take a bus from the high-speed rail station nearby. Buses leave every 30 minutes from 6:40am to 4:40pm with a fare of 25 yuan. From there, go to Daxi. Jingning Station has a total of 10 ticketing gates. The left side is for long-distance buses, while the right side is for minibuses to the various towns under Jingning. To get to Daxi, simply take the minibus and purchase the ticket at the station for 17 yuan.
