Introduction

Tianchi does not have an inlet, only an outlet. The Chengcha River is the outlet of Tianchi, connecting Tianchi and Changbai Waterfall, with a total length of 1250 meters, which is one of the shortest rivers in the world. The water of Tianchi flows continuously down the Chengcha River, forming the Changbai Waterfall with a drop of up to 68 meters. The waterfall is listed in the Guinness World Records for its unique volcanic lake scenery with the largest drop, and is also one of the sources of the third longest river in China, the Songhua River.
