Introduction
The Yadan Landform is a unique geological landscape in the western part of Qaidam Basin, which is larger and more unusual than the Shilin in Yunnan. Yadan Landform covers an area of 1.7 million square kilometers, accounting for more than 94% of the land area around the cold lake. From a distance, the Yadan Landform has different shapes, some resembling ancient castles, temples, imperial tombs, and military camps, while others resemble whales playing on the beach, sea lions gathering at sunrise, and dragons in formation, which is very spectacular.
