Introduction

Kongtong Rock, located 3 kilometers west of Yangchun City, was built in the Wanli year of the Ming Dynasty. It was later renovated by Jiangshan, the county magistrate of Yangchun in the twenty-first year of the Qing Dynasty, and now has its current appearance. Kongtong Rock is one of the "Four Kongtong Mountains" in China, and its cave is divided into five layers with its most attractive features being the Lion Rock, Waterfall Rock, Lengxi One Pillar View, and the Monk Worshiping Guanyin View. The rock has a temple inside and peaks outside, creating a natural and cultural landscape that is ancient, elegant and tranquil. It has been designated as a cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province, with a total visiting area of over 30,000 square meters.
