Introduction
The Shaoxing Lu Xun Memorial Hall, which began construction in 1973, took on the task of restoring the traditional environment of Lu Xun's hometown in early 2003. In order to maintain consistency with the surrounding traditional streets, the exhibition hall was demolished and restored as the Zhou family's new platform gate. The newly built Lu Xun Memorial Hall is located on the east side of Lu Xun's hometown, surrounded by a very elegant environment. The plants in the park mainly include camphor, pine, orchid, plum, jujube, sapindus, mulberry, wood lotus vine, and raspberries, which display the historical memory of Lu Xun's former residence. The architectural form of the Memorial Hall adopts the Shaoxing platform gate style, and the main entrance is the Shaoxing traditional bamboo silk platform gate, while the square and the outdoor ground of each entrance and exit use traditional Shaoxing bluestone pavement. The total area of the Lu Xun Memorial Hall is 6,000 square meters, and the total construction area is about 5,000 square meters. The exhibition hall and the green alley adjacent to Lu Xun's ancestral home have been arranged into a typical traditional courtyard garden in Shaoxing, including building ornaments such as corridors and Wupeng boat, creating a strong Jiangnan water town artistic conception.
