Introduction

The South Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built in front of the Great Mercy Temple to inherit Buddhist culture, and officially opened in 2001. In the center of the square stands a 4.98-meter-high bronze statue of Master Xuanzang, who is dressed in a robe and holds a staff, very similar to the real Master Xuanzang. The square is surrounded by lush greenery, flowing water, and offers a wide view for visitors to take photos and enjoy the scenery of the tourist area.
