The natural landscapes of Meijiang belong to the karst landform, presenting diverse surface and underground landscapes, meeting the basic standards for creating a national geological park. The unique geological landscapes of Meijiang are distinct from other famous landscapes such as Yunnan Stone Forest, Guangxi Guilin, and Hunan Zhangjiajie, showcasing a unique style. Meijiang has a large number of karst caves with complete types, which are extremely rare in China.

Transportation
Transportation: There are buses from Lianyuan train station that go directly to various places in Meijiang. The final stop is the reservoir. It is recommended to hike in reverse after arriving at the final stop. Classic scenic spots include Cangjundong and Xianrenfu. In the summer, you can also hike through Tianlong Gorge (round trip).
