Introduction
Heilongtan Reservoir, located in Heilongtan Town, Renshou County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, is known as the "first sea of western Sichuan". It is a comprehensive large-scale reservoir mainly used for irrigation and water supply, and also has functions such as flood control and aquaculture. Dongfeng Canal sources water from Dujiangyan and there are 1319 canals (divided into five levels: main, branch, feeder, farm, and furrow) throughout the irrigation area with a total length of 3692.30 kilometers, providing irrigation for approximately 1.21 million mu of arable land in Renshou, Jingyan, and Jianyang.
