Introduction

"Zhiqu Huashan Road" is one of the famous hiking routes in Mount Huashan. In history, Huangfuyu and Xingxinggou were developed earlier and became part of "Zhiqu Huashan Road", while Huashanyu, which is known as "There is only one road in Huashan since ancient times", was relatively late. Nowadays, this hiking trail has been paved with steps and iron chains in the 1980s, becoming a convenient route for tourists to climb. "Zhiqu Huashan Road" is 2 kilometers long, including 3,999 steps, leading to the North Peak. Its completion marked the end of the history of "There is only one road in Huashan since ancient times", and became an important patriotic education site and red tourism attraction. About 100 meters in front of Zhenwu Hall, there is also a hexagonal stone pavilion built on Huashan granite with flying eaves and dougong, called the Huashan Monument, to commemorate the liberation of Huashan.

If arriving at Huashan North Station (high-speed rail station), there is a tourist express line in front of the station that can take you to Huashan Visitor Center or Huashan Yuquan Temple (hiking trailhead) for 10 yuan/person. 3. At the East Square of Xi'an Railway Station, take the tourist express line "You 1 Road" for about 25 yuan. The bus starts at 8:00 am and passes by Xi Yue Temple, then arrives at the Yuquan Temple trailhead. It returns from Yuquan Temple at 5:00 pm and the journey takes about 2 hours. It does not operate in the off-season (January to March). In addition, there are many buses from Xi'an Railway Station that go directly to Huashan for about 30 yuan/person. 4. Every day there are multiple long-distance buses from Xi'an East Bus Station heading to Huayin City between 7:00 am and 7:15 pm, with one leaving every 15 minutes. The bus will stop at Huashan, and you need to tell the driver to drop you off at "Huashan" to reach the Yuquan Temple trailhead. To reach the Zhiqu Huashan Road on the North Peak: The starting point of the Zhiqu Huashan Road is located at the intersection next to the North Peak Cable Car at the foot of the mountain to the east. There is a sculpture at the intersection, but this section of the road is dangerous, so climbers need to be careful.
