Introduction
Yueyang Tower is located on the city wall near the west gate of Yueyang City, adjacent to the Dongting Lake and together with Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang and Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, known as the three famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River. The famous literary work "Yueyang Tower" by Song Dynasty writer Fan Zhongyan depicts a rollercoaster of emotions, making this tower deeply ingrained in people's hearts. The unique feature of the top of Yueyang Tower is the ancient general helmet-shaped structure, and the entire building has no iron nails or crossbeams, which is unique in the history of ancient Chinese architecture. Standing on the third floor of the tower and looking around, the sun and clouds high above can be seen, while below are the vast waters of the eight hundred li dongting lake, making people feel refreshed and joyful.
